Because holding a letter in your hand, feeling the paper between your fingers and smelling the ink is sometimes better than staring at a computer screen.

The handwriting of someone you love or admire or miss is the best font, far better than anything the folks at Microsoft or Apple or anyone could ever invent.

Because you love the way envelope glue tastes.
